Anna Maria College announces that Cardinal Seán P. O’Malley, O.F.M. Cap., Archbishop of Boston will be the keynote speaker at its Fall Academic Convocation scheduled for September 20, 2012. The Convocation will serve as the culmination of activities hosted by Anna Maria College to celebrate its 65th Anniversary. As part of the program, the College will recognize the Cardinal for his extraordinary service and leadership in the Church. Cardinal O’Malley will be awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Sacred Theology.
The Convocation will also include recognition of Anna Maria College’s acceptance into the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.
