AMC Holds Academic Symposium

Anna Maria College announces that its spring Academic Symposium spanned three days of events. The College began its celebration of the Liberal Artist on April 22nd with graduate solo art exhibits on display in the Anna Maria College Art Gallery. On April 23rd, AMC hosted student and faculty presentations from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Oral presentations included such topics as The Birth of the Blues by AMC student, Joel Spinale, and Biopolitics, Neuroscience, and National Security: An Analysis of the Problems Facing Neuroethical Objections to Non-Medical Usage of Medical Technology by Professor Kyle Thomsen, Ph.D. Poster presentations included Gun Rights Vs. Gun Control by AMC student Paola Penn and Pathophysiology of the Athletic Heart by students Jill Allard, Kevin Hart, Nate Batallas, and Heidi Gilboy.
The Symposium culminated with an Honors Induction Ceremony on April 24th.
