Part-Time Bus Drivers

Anna Maria College invites applications for part-time bus drivers needed for the Fall, Winter and Spring seasons (no summers). Responsibilities include driving students and staff using the College bus to and from away games for the Athletics Department of Anna Maria College. A valid CDL Driver's license with a Bus Passenger Certificate is mandatory. A good driving record and reliability are also required.

Financial Aid Counselor

Reporting to the Director of Financial Aid, this position encompasses a full range of Financial Aid responsibilities including but not limited to:
> Processing and monitoring the Federal Work Study Program;
> Monitoring the verifying the resident students' budgets for room and board; and
> Monitoring all state funding and disbursing, following up on problems and reconciling MA No Interest Loans and the following grants: State, MA Part Time, Rehab, Gear Up, Early Education, and Gilbert.
Responsibilities also include:
> insuring all required students complete a MA NIL when leaving the College;
> packaging and verification of all Traditional Graduate Students;
> returning all phone calls and e-mail messages daily;
> approving Federal Work Study student hours;
> updating of all financial aid forms; and
> keeping office supplies stocked.
Financial Aid Counselor will also take on a case load of regular, undergraduate students to package and verify and additional projects assigned by the Director of Financial Aid.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree is required, one to three years directly related experience in financial aid required, knowledge and skill in automated processing, excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and ability to effectively use computer technology in all operations. Some weekend or evening hours required. Group presentations to students and families throughout the year are required.

Director of Fire Science, Emergency Services and Emergency Management

This position is a full time administrative position in a robust undergraduate Fire Science Program that offers a FESHE- compliant curriculum to traditional on ground students and to continuing education and graduate students on-line, a bachelor's program in Paramedic Science, and a newly developed undergraduate program in Emergency Management.

Duties: Oversees all aspects of the emergency management, fire science and paramedic programs at Anna Maria College, including:

• recruiting new students,
• advising students,
• assessment of all programs
• development of curriculum,
• teach one course per semester,
• participate on various college committees, and
• represent the college at various seminars and conferences pertaining to emergency services.

Qualifications: Doctoral degree in fire science, emergency management, public safety, public administration, or emergency management. Preferred experience includes teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels both on ground and online, curriculum development, and student assessment. Administrative experience in a related field is also preferred.
