Part-Time Bus Drivers

Anna Maria College invites applications for part-time bus drivers needed for the Fall, Winter and Spring seasons (no summers). Responsibilities include driving students and staff using the College bus to and from away games for the Athletics Department of Anna Maria College. A valid CDL Driver's license with a Bus Passenger Certificate is mandatory. A good driving record and reliability are also required.

Resident Director

A Resident Director (RD), as a member of the Residence Life Staff, holds a professional, 10 month live-in position reporting to the Coordinator of Residential Education (CORE). The RD is the professional responder to emergencies and other situations as well as a role model and mentor to students. The RD supports and fosters the mission of the College and of Residence Life. S/he is expected to uphold and follow College and residence hall policies and procedures and State and Federal laws.
 
The essence of a College experience is the creation of an atmosphere wherein individuals can succeed academically as well as develop personally. The RD works with the Residence Life Staff, Paxton Police, and other AMC staff to provide that living environment.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
• The Resident Director will work 16 office hours per week with additional responsibilities related to program attendance and on call duty rotation.
• Evening and weekend work is required.
• The Resident Director is responsible for supporting the mission of the College by developing environments conducive to student learning and academic success, respecting, appreciating, and advocating for the diversity of our student population, and supporting the holistic development of up to 800 residents.
• Duties include but are not limited to: supervision of Resident Assistants; liaison with administrators, faculty and staff; the development of specialized programming in the halls; support of large-scale campus events; general housing responsibilities; and active participation in the disciplinary process.
• The Resident Director actively participates in staff recruitment, selection and training activities, management of residence hall facility and occupancy issues, and the on call duty rotation responding to emergencies.

• Ability to work successfully in a team environment.

Head Men's Lacrosse Coach

Anna Maria College is accepting applications for its vacant Head Men's Lacrosse Coaching position. This position will report directly to the Athletic Director and is part-time, including a stipend.
 
The Head Coach will be responsible for all aspects of running an NCAA Division 3 Lacrosse program including off and on campus recruiting, equipment inventory, off season practices, academic monitoring, and player evaluations.

Part-Time Mailroom Coordinator

Under the direction of the Controller in the Business Office, this position is responsible for receiving, sorting and processing of all incoming and outgoing mail, internal and external. The Mail Room Coordinator will also supervise work study students. The hours will be Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mail Service responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Interacts daily with all students, faculty and staff in a positive and helpful manner
• Receives, sorts, and distributes all incoming mail, packages and interoffice mail
• Prepares, processes and ships outgoing mail for daily and overnight deliveries
• Maintains mail equipment, mailboxes and folding machine
• Updates mailboxes on an ongoing basis and each semester
• Records and maintains data on spreadsheets for daily and monthly reports
• Maintains/reconciles petty cash
• Regular interaction with USPS, UPS, FEDEX
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to lift heavy packages and full mail bins (50lbs)
• Able to stand for long periods
 
QUALIFICATIONS - The successful candidate will have:
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Knowledge of Excel, Word and other Purchasing software
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
• Knowledge of USPS mailing policies and folding machines
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of college community

Digital Marketing Specialist

Anna Maria College is searching for an individual to manage its digital marketing efforts by working collaboratively with the Admissions and Marketing Offices. These efforts are intended to raise awareness of the College and its offerings but more specifically to contribute to the achievement of enrollment goals and objectives. This individual will develop and drive a digital marketing plan across multiple channels to build brand awareness and successful prospective student lead generation.
 
The successful candidate will be technically proficient, have basic design skills, be a creative and strategic thinker and possess a complete understanding of the uses of various social media platforms as marketing tools. Additionally, this individual will have some web design and development experience.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will:
• Develop and implement short and long term digital marketing and communication strategies.
• Guide AMC's social media strategies across all platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, You Tube, Instagram and other emerging technologies.
• Have an understanding of and use best digital marketing principles and practices.
• Monitor levels of social media interactivity and measure the effectiveness of the various strategies using Google Analytics.
• Work with the Dean of Admission and Financial Aid in the development and implementation of an effective marketing communication plan to prospective students and other stakeholders.
• Work with the Director of College Relations in managing the College's brand identity across all media.
• Work with the Director of College Relations and the Dean of Admission and Financial Aid in developing print and electronic recruiting materials.
• Frequent communication with School Deans, Program Directors and faculty.
• Work with the Dean of Admission and Financial Aid and various vendors in optimizing the College's outreach efforts to manage prospective students through the enrollment funnel.
• Work with the Director of Information Technology and the Director of College Relations in assuring that www.annamaria.edu is as effective as it can be as a source of information by assuring that is current, informative, engaging, fresh in its look and content, and easily navigable.

Desired Skills and Experience
• A Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Communication or a related field is required.
• Have 2 to 3 years of experience in digital marketing, graphic design or web design and development.
• Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Advanced skills in appropriate software including Microsoft Office.
