Welcome from the Vice President for Academic Affairs
Welcome from the Vice President for Academic Affairs

Stephen P. Neun, Ph.D.,  joined Anna Maria College as the new Academic Dean on July 1, 2008.  He was associated with Utica College where he is Professor of Economics, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the School of Graduate and Extended Studies.

Dr. Neun was attracted to AMC because of the sygnergies he found between the College's mission and its Strategic Plan: Vision 2012.   "I am excited about joining the team at Anna Maria College," he states.  "The faculty, students and staff that I have met all seem committed to the mission and vision of the College.  I look forward to being an integral part of this community that strives for excellence in all that it does."

Dr. Neun graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut where he also received his Master's and Ph.D. in Economics.  He has been associated with Utica College since 1982.
