Counseling Psychology

The Master of Arts program in Counseling Psychology at Anna Maria College is designed to prepare students for professions in a variety of mental health agencies. The program is not intended for students interested in counseling in school settings, nor does it lead to licensure at this time.


Master of Arts

To earn a master's degree, students must complete eight required courses, one of which must be a practicum, four electives from the education or psychology offerings, and a written comprehensive examination. The required course selections fall in the areas of:
