The Certificate in Paralegal Studies is designed for students who already have a degree. Students must complete the 6 required paralegal courses and 2 elective paralegal courses. The paralegal skills and knowledge developed through the certificate program, coupled with the student’s other degree program and work experience, prepare students for many law-related career opportunities. Students who apply for the certificate program with an associate’s degree must have a minimum of 18 credit hours in general education courses.
