To better serve the needs of increasing graduate enrollment, Anna Maria College has opened a Worcester instructional site located at 88 Prescott Street in the Gateway Park community. The site was selected because of its proximity to Routes 9, 290 and 190 and plenty of on-site parking. AMC also offers three graduate programs online: Public Administration, Emergency Management and Fire Science Administration. Click here for details about our online programs.
The Graduate Division offers Master's Degree programs in Business Administration, Counseling Psychology, Criminal Justice, Education, Emergency Management, Fire Science, Human Services Administration, Justice Administration, Occupational and Environmental Health & Safety, Public Administration, Pastoral Ministry, and Visual Arts. AMC also offers an advanced certificate in Business, a graduate certificate in Emergency Management, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS).
AMC is particularly proud of the fact that its graduate faculty members are selected on the basis of their professional experience, as well as their academic achievement. Whether that experience is with the public or private sector at national or international levels, our faculty combine theoretical understanding with hands-on, state-of-the-art professional practice.
Typically, graduate classes are small, around 5-10 students. Our graduate students come from diverse personal and professional backgrounds. All of these factors promote a high degree of classroom interaction amongst students, and between students and instructors.
In addition to providing the technical content and professional knowledge of the various disciplines, all of our graduate programs aim to develop students' analytical and communication skills while nurturing a sense of responsibility to society.
