Anna Maria College is proud to offer three Levels of music & imagery training based upon Helen Bonny’s foundational notions of humanistic music therapy. Our Level I and II Trainings include new, practical approaches and are scheduled for 2008. Each level of training consists of an intensive seminar at our on-campus Summer Institute in Paxton, MA, followed by a supervised, long-distance practicum. The Level I and II Summer Institute is led by Lisa Summer, world renowned for her GIM skills as a clinician and trainer; practica are supervised by our internationally esteemed faculty.  

 All graduate courses offered by the Institute for Music & Consciousness are

• Approved by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT). CMTE credits awarded by CBMT are accepted by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). The Institute for Music & Consciousness, #P-080 maintains responsibility for program quality and adherence to CBMT Policies and Criteria.
• Approved as Level I, II, and III GIM Training by the Association for Music & Imagery (AMI). The credential, FAMI (Fellow of the Association for Music & Imagery is awarded upon successful completion of Level III Training
