About the Admission Process
Anna Maria College seeks to admit motivated students, who are academically prepared for a challenging yet rewarding educational experience. Admitted students will benefit from our programs that integrate the liberal arts with strong career preparation. In keeping with the College's commitment to viewing each student as an individual, the admissions process is personalized. Each student's application and supporting credentials are reviewed holistically. Decisions are based on a review of the applicant's secondary school program of study, grades earned, and teacher or counselor recommendation. Additionally, the personal statement provides the applicant with the opportunity to share his or her thoughts about something of importance that may contribute to the decision.

Rolling Admission Policy
There is no specific deadline for the submission of an application for admission. However, students are urged to apply early in their senior year in high school, if applying as a first year student. Generally, students will apply around the end of the first quarter of their senior year. It is preferable that applications be completed by the middle of March of the senior year. Once complete, decisions will be made, typically within three to five weeks. Some programs, including Nursing, may reach capacity early, so applying by February 1st is strongly recommended.
