Biography: 
Theodora Welch is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at the School of Business, Anna Maria College. Before coming to Anna Maria in 2012 she held academic positions at University of Massachusetts, Boston and Suffolk University. She earned her BA at McGill University and her MBA in Finance and Ph.D. in Business Administration from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. Her research interests are focused on a fast growing area in the management literature relating to corporate governance and strategic management. She has published and presented extensively in fields of management in academic journals such as Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, Journal of Management Development, Latin American Business Review, and International Management, and at national and international conferences and in government organizations. Her work has been supported by research fellowships and sponsorship from Harvard University and The World Bank.
