Deadline for Application for Financial Aid

Anna Maria's priority deadline for incoming undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education students is March 1. The deadline for returning students is May 1. Keeping to these deadlines when filing ensures maximum financial aid eligibility. The online FAFSA takes approximately one to two weeks to process, while the paper FAFSA takes four to five weeks.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Full-time day undergraduate students in a Bachelor's Degree program are required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA determines a student's need for financial aid by examining the family's income and assets.

The quickest approach to filing the FAFSA is by completing it online. Before completing the FAFSA, it is important to register pin numbers for both the student and parent at www.pin.ed.gov. Include AMC’s school code (#002117) to ensure information is sent to Anna Maria electronically.

The FAFSA can also be filed using a paper application. To request a paper application, call the Federal Student Aid Hotline at 1-800-4FEDAID.

Graduate and Continuing Education Financial Aid

There are three steps necessary for Graduate and Continuing Education students who wish to receive financial aid. They are:

1. Be formally accepted into a program of study;

2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); and

3. Complete the Anna Maria College  pdf Application for Financial Aid (213 KB).

Note that you must be enrolled at least half-time (two courses/six credits) per semester for undergraduates; one course/three credits per semester for graduates in order to be eligible for financial aid.
