Anna Maria College Announces Tenure Granted

Anna Maria College announces that the following members of its Faculty have been granted tenure and/or promotion effective with the 2013-14 academic year:
- Dr. Virginia Heslinga --- Granted tenure and promoted to Associate Professor
- Dr. Dianne White --- Granted tenure
These decisions were based on the review and recommendations by the ARPT Committee and the Vice President for Academic Affairs, and were formalized by action taken at the March 2, 2013 meeting of the Board of Trustees.
Virginia Heslinga, Ed.D., joined AMC in 2006. She is a graduate of Marshall University and received her Master’s in Education from Widener University and her Ed.D. from the University of Phoenix. Dr. Heslinga is an Associate Professor of English in AMC’s School of Humanities.
Dianne White, Ph.D., joined AMC in 2005. She is a graduate of Suffolk University and received masters’ degrees from Boston College and Brandeis University, her J.D. from New England School of Law and her Ph.D. from Brandeis University. She is an assistant professor of legal studies and political science in AMC’s School of Justice and Social Sciences.
