Madonna Hall

Madonna Hall is centrally located in the middle of campus across from Foundress Hall and is the biggest residence hall, housing over 300 students. It’s a multilevel building with four wings; Mondor, O’Leary, Eagen, and Duggan. There are double rooms, triple rooms with a lofted bed, quad rooms, and suites which have two rooms with a full bath.

Substance Free Living: There are Substance Free floors in Madonna Hall for men and women. Substance free living is a lifestyle choice.  All students assigned to the substance free floors shall live free of alcohol, illegal drugs and tobacco products.

Freshman Focused Housing:  Eagen 1 (male) and Duggan Ground (female) are Freshman Living floors.  These floors have additional Resident Assistants to increase the individual attention for each resident.  The RAs provide programming designed to help freshmen acclimate to college living.

Esther House

Esther House, adjacent to Trinity Hall, is a small hall with 29 single rooms for upperclassmen. 

Medical Single: Esther House has singles available for students with documented medical need. Medical need is established through the Associate Dean of Campus Life prior to housing. The College reserves the right to determine appropriate accommodation for the presented need.

Alumni Hall & Coghlin Hall

The newly renovated and accessible Alumni Hall, found "on the hill," houses 30 upperclassmen in both double and single rooms.   The newly built Coghlin Hall is air conditioned with individual room controls

Accessible Housing:
Alumni Hall and Coghlin Hall offer housing for those students needing an accessible facility. Need for an accessible room is established through the Associate Dean of Campus Life prior to housing. The College reserves the right to determine appropriate accommodation for the presented need.

South Hall

Opened In August 2008, South Hall brings 91 air conditioned beds to the campus in mostly double rooms. The large main lounge has a flat screen television, kitchenette and plenty of room for group study or group fun! The Residence Life Office Annex, located off the main lounge, is where the Area Coordinator works.

Resident Student Meal Plan

A meal plan is chosen when the resident signs his/her Housing Agreement. All residents must be on one of the three meal plans offered. There are two standard plans available: eat any 10 meals during the week with $90 Declining Balance Dollars to spend for the semester or eat any 15 meals during the week with $25 Declining Balance Dollars to spend for the semester. For an additional fee, eating all 19 meals served in a week may be chosen as a meal plan. Residents may change their meal plan in the Residence Life Office through the end of the drop/add period (generally the first Friday of classes).

Meal plans weeks are based on using meals Monday breakfast through Sunday dinner. During a day, each meal can only be used once (one lunch, one dinner for example). Unused meals do not carry over from one week to the next. The meal plan is only used in the cafeteria. "Meals" cannot be used in Take 10 at the Hub.

Living on Campus

Non-Smoking Areas:  All residence halls are smoke free, including student rooms.
All rooms have twin beds. bureaus, study desks, closets, desk chairs and overhead lighting.  Most rooms are doubles (for two residents.) There are also triple rooms (for three residents) and quads (for four residents). 
Laundry Facilities: There are coin operated laundry facilities in all residence halls.  
Telephones: Each room has one outlet for one touch-tone phone.  Cordless phones are not recommended and are not supported.  Local and campus calls have no additional fee.  Students pay all costs for long distance service. There will be information on the College’s long distance carrier available at Orientation.
Cable Television: Each room has one cable TV hook-up.  Basic cable channels are provided.  Residents need to bring a TV and the co-axial cable.  Cable television and a VCR are provided in the lounges of each residence hall. 
Cooking: Most residence halls have a small kitchenette and microwave ovens available for use.  Students may bring a small refrigerator (not to exceed 4.5 cubic feet) and microwave (one 700 W or less per room) to have in their room. 
Vending Machines: All residence halls have soda and snack machines.  Most accept dollar bills. 
Computers: There are computers and a printer for student use in each residence hall.  These computers allow access to the Internet, e-mail and word processing.  Each student room has the capability to connect computers to the College network. An Ethernet card is needed for connection.  Wireless connection is also available.
Fun and Games: Board games, basketballs, Frisbees and more are available from the RA on duty for residents to check out.   The staff also plans a lot of fun activities like trips, hiking, movies, pizza nights and more.
Quite Hours: Respect for the community is important in the residence halls.  Each floor sets times that the floor will be especially quiet for study and sleep.  Consideration is expected at all times so that you can study, socialize and sleep in a comfortable atmosphere.
