Earning various honors throughout, his high school career was topped off with being selected as an All-American and a participant in the National North-South Senior All-Star Game. At the collegiate ranks Patrick attended Endicott College where he excelled academically and athletically. As a four-year starter, he was a Senior Captain, 4X All Conference, 2X All New England, 2007 Defensive Player of the Year for his Conference, and a USILA Division III All-American Defenseman.
