Coach O'Malley began her playing career while attending David Prouty High School where she was a four-year varsity starter on both the field hockey and basketball teams. During her freshmen year, she helped the basketball team capture a State Championship. In both her junior and senior years, O'Malley was named to the Telegram and Gazette All-Star Team for both sports. She was the leading scorer in field hockey for all of Central Massachusetts during her senior year and was named to the Best of 60's Team.
Coach O'Malley continued her career at Anna Maria College where she was a four-year starter in both field hockey and basketball. Her senior year was quite successful as she led the AMC field hockey team to it’s first-ever ECAC appearance. During her basketball career at AMC Coach O'Malley amassed more than 1,000 points, but as the team’s starting point guard her main responsibility was setting up her teammates. Her 292 career assists place her fourth all-time in the school’s record books. She also finished her AMCAT career as the field hockey program’s all-time career leader in assists.
Coach O'Malley was the Assistant Field Hockey Coach at David Prouty High School for one year and the assistant at Anna Maria College for two years before being named the AMCATS’ Head Coach in 2009. In addition to coaching field hockey, O'Malley is also currently performing duties as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Anna Maria.
Jennifer graduated from Anna Maria College in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology.
"As a former athlete from Anna Maria I am thrilled to share my dedication, competitiveness, and love for the game with all of my players." – Coach O'Malley
