Since opening its doors in 1974, Anna Maria College has educated more than 1,000 social workers with a Bachelors in Social Work degree. Anna Maria College is now offering a Master of Social Work (MSW) program that will be accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
Anna Maria's Master of Social Work program will follow a Cohort model. Students will be accepted in the Fall of 2017 in a full or part-time program. Our MSW program will run on weeknights and weekends in Paxton, MA.

Anna Maria College’s MSW curriculum is uniquely designed as students take classes while doing concurrent fieldwork. You get the chance to apply what you learn, not at the end of your program, but during your program. Students are placed in a variety of social service agencies throughout central Massachusetts and beyond. Your field work will give you an opportunity to work with diverse populations and we will assist you in selecting an appropriate and convenient field placement. If you work at a social service agency, you may be able to complete your field work there.
