Essential Learning Outcomes

Mission

As a Catholic institution inspired by the ideals of the Sisters of Saint Anne, Anna Maria College educates students to become individuals who will transform their world as ethical leaders and community-oriented professionals.

Essential Learning Outcomes

The three Essential Learning Outcomes at Anna Maria College prepare students for twenty-first-century challenges and are demonstrated through twelve contemporary literacies. Anna Maria College students acquire real and relevant educational experiences in active student-centered classrooms, rehearsal rooms, practice fields, worship services, student employment, clinical and field placements, service learning, internships, and community organizations. These diverse learning opportunities help students achieve a comprehensive set of contemporary literacies no matter what major, General Education coursework, off-campus programs, or co-curricular experiences they may choose.
