OFFICE OF INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH

MISSION:

The mission of the Office of Institutional Research is to support Anna Maria College’s mission, institutional effectiveness, and student success by offering high-quality research and assessment services to faculty, staff, and students by being a trusted provider of relevant, unbiased institutional information to support decision-makers in planning, policy formulation, resource allocation, and external reporting.

GOALS:

  • Provide leadership in developing and implementing the College’s institutional research and assessment plan to support institutional planning, policy analysis, and program improvement.
  • Model, compile, analyze, and interpret various data that promote accountability, and foster a data-driven culture.
  • Conduct and centrally coordinate research and assessment efforts for the academic and administrative units, including the implementation and reporting for national studies.
  • Support College-wide accreditation efforts.
  • Serve as the College’s official source of institutional data and coordinate the collection and reporting of data for a variety of external and internal purposes.
  • Design, disseminate and analyze numerous institutional surveys.

CODE OF ETHICS:

The Office of Institutional Research abides by the Association of Institutional Research (AIR) Code of Ethics, which provides Institutional Research offices with ethical principles and standards to guide their work.
