Men’s Golf: The golf team competed in a tri-match at Blackstone National Golf Course and the Nichols Invitational this week finishing in 2^nd and 8^th place, respectively. Freshman Dylan Jarmulowicz (Leicester, Mass.) finished third overall at Blackstone by shooting an 82.

 

Men’s Soccer: The soccer team went 1-2 this week with an overtime win over Wentworth. Junior George Markopoulos (Worcester, Mass.) scored two goals, including the game-winner on a penalty-kick with 27 seconds left in overtime, to lift the AMCATS to a 2-1 victory over Wentworth. The win was AMC’s first-ever at Sweeney Field.

 

Field Hockey: The field hockey team went 0-3 this week against tough opponents in the University of New England, Gordon College, and UMass Dartmouth. Angela Guiffrida (Leicester, Mass.) scored the lone goal for the AMCATS this week, and now leads the team with six goals, two assists, and 14 points.

 

Women’s Soccer: The women’s soccer team finished this week with a 0-1-1 record. Senior goalkeeper Karine Almeida (Brockton, Mass.) made 15 saves versus New England College while earning her sixth shutout of the season, tying her for the conference-lead.

 

Women’s Tennis: Did not play.

 

Women’s Volleyball: The volleyball team went 0-3 this week, dropping matches to WPI, Elms, and Colby-Sawyer. Junior Brittany Langdeau (Wolcott, Conn.) led the team with 33 digs.
