AMC congratulates Virginia Heslinga on her new Book “Wounded Dove,” which is now available at the bookstore and online. Wounded Dove is the true story of an immigrant family’s determination to have a life in a nation of opportunities, of a child’s battle to survive a polio epidemic, of a physically disabled girl struggling to gain acceptance, respect, and confidence, of a young woman’s search for love and a life purpose, and of a mature woman’s challenge to face the effects of her life choices.
