Anna Maria College announces that it plans to launch a major initiative to offer online degree programs.    As part of this project, AMC has entered into a partnership agreement with Deltak edu, a respected leader in online higher education.  Upon approval from NEASC, the regional accrediting association, the College will begin offering four masters degree programs and one bachelors degree program online beginning in January of 2010.  Recognizing the challenges facing adult learners, AMC is reshaping its high-demand degree programs so that they will be able to be offered in an online format while maintaining the academic excellence that is associated with the College.

“Our move to online programming for our adult students is in keeping with the mission of AMC,” states Jack P. Calareso, Ph.D., President of Anna Maria College. “Recognizing the time constraints facing adults who want to further their education, our new online format will provide more opportunities for students to achieve their personal and professional goals.”

According to Dr. Calareso, AMC will formally introduce AMC Online later this summer.  For additional information about Anna Maria College, visit www.annamaria.edu
