Paxton, MA (February 8, 2010) Anna Maria College announces that it has received a $10,000 grant from the Hoche-Scofield Foundation.  AMC plans to use the funds to purchase dissecting and compound microscopes for students studying the sciences at the College. Susan Swedis, Ph.D., Chair of the Division of Environmental, Natural and Technological Sciences, will be the project director for this grant.

Calareso, Ph.D., President of AMC.  “This grant will allow our students to expand their knowledge and graduate with the expertise they need to pursue a successful career in the sciences.”

 

Anna Maria College received a $12,000 grant from the Hoche-Scofield Foundation in 2008 for its Learning Center.
