Anna Maria College announces that students graduating from its nursing programs, who took the NCLEX-RN licensure exam in Massachusetts, have exceeded the state and national average pass rates. The Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing recently reported that the 2011 Performance Summary for the NCLEX-RN licensing exam for AMC students was 94.12% compared to the state average of 88.23% and the national average of 87.9%.

Dr. Carol Gabriele, Director of Nursing Programs at AMC, attributes this success rate to the comprehensive nursing program offered by the College, as well as the expert faculty who work with students in the classroom and in the field. Anna Maria College currently offers an Associate of Science in Nursing, which will end August 2012; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, which was launched in 2011; and an RN-BSN program offered online.
