Welcome to Career Services

It is our hope that you will be an active participant with the Career Services Office during your time at AMC. Career Services can assist in providing you with the tools you will need to succeed in the workforce.

As you move through the web page, please take note of all of the services we have to offer. We can assist you with choosing a college major, finding an internship or job, or developing your graduate school plans. Throughout each academic year, we offer special programs and events including Dress for Success, Mock Interviews, How to Work a Job Fair, Resume Writing, and Business/ Etiquette Dining. Every Spring we participate in the Colleges of the Worcester Consortium Career Fair hosting up to 100 employers and graduate schools. All of our services are free of charge to current students and alumni/ae

Education majors are encouraged to attend MERC. The program sponsors an education job fair with up to 200 recruiters representing school systems across the nation.
Recruitment takes place every April and is available to all students and alumni.

Students who are interested in doing an internship need to pick up the Internship and Resume Writing packets located outside Career Services. Students need to make an appointment with Judith Sparanges to review their resume, explore internship opportunities, and discuss interviewing/job search etiquette.

Apply for Internships
  • Students must fill out the Internship Agreement form and Permission form and submit them to Career Services before internship starts.
  • You must also register for the internship with the Registrars Office.
