Joanne Zannotti 1About Professor Joanne Zannotti, MSW, LICSW

Joanne Zannotti, MSW, LICSW, is the quintessential educator, dedicated to her students and ever the consummate social worker.  With constant self-assessment, she offers her students the best educational experience possible, as well as rewarding internship opportunities.

Annually, Professor Zannotti works along-side AMC students to provide programs for the Department of Children and Families, Children’s Friend, and Worcester public schools through a holiday party, adoption party and backpack drive.  She has led efforts at AMC to recertify the College’s Social Work Program and was recently named Director of its Molly Bish Center for the Protection of Children and the Elderly.

Professor Zannotti has organized trips to Social Work Day at the United Nations for seven years so that her students could learn about other cultures and how to work with varied populations.  She has recently returned from a trip to Santiago, Chile, where she and other faculty and students participated in a study abroad experience.

Professor Zannotti is a graduate of Anna Maria College and she received her MSW from Boston College.  She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and a member of the Central Regional Council of the Massachusetts Chapter.
