This exciting program is for young people ages 8-15 who love to sing. The goal is complete immersion in the joy of making music.
Hungarian composer, Zoltan Kodály believed that singing should be the foundation of all music education. He felt that music, and the making of music was the birthright of every child. All children can learn to sing in tune by singing the music of their own culture. They then use that grounding and resulting music skills to explore music from around the world and back through time. Kodály felt a person could not be complete without music and that music serves to develop a person on all levels emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually.
