The Anna Maria College Trinity Accelerated Bachelor Degree Program Apply Nowwhich will allow students to complete their bachelor degree in just seven semesters and save up to a semester's worth of tuition. To attain their degree in a shorter amount of time, students will take 6 courses each semester beginning in their third semester (start of sophomore year). Students will be expected to meet with an academic advisor each semester to ensure they stay on track with their program requirements. 


The accelerated program provides students with benefits such as early registration and no additional cost for enrolling up to 19 credits per semester. Another benefit is that students will have the option to stay on campus during the eighth semester so they can enjoy the senior year activities with their peers while beginning their master’s degree at Anna Maria. 


In order to apply to the program, students must have earned a minimum of 30 credits by the start of the program as well as hold a 3.0 GPA. Other requirements include:

  • A letter from the student, stating the understanding of the requirements and confidence in the ability to handle the course/workload
  • A letter from the student's academic advisor and/or program director
  • A letter from a current instructor of the student stating the students is capable of 6 classes per semester.

*The student will need either AP credits or summer courses, which are not part of the 18 credits, in order to complete this program.

The Accelerated Degree Program initiative was funded by a grant received from the Davis Educational Foundation established by Stanton and Elisabeth Davis after Mr. Davis's retirement as chairman of Shaw's Supermarkets, Inc.
