Meet Your Orientation Leaders

We look forward to further familiarizing you with Anna Maria College. Orientation is great way to learn about the campus and meet other members of the campus community—your future classmates, Anna Maria faculty and College faculty and College staff.

Darren BelliveauDarren Belliveau
Darren has worked hard in his courses to graduate two semesters early in the Class of 2019! Originally from Baldwinville, MA, Darren is a part of Campus Ministry and has traveled to Florida to work with Habitat for Humanity. He has also traveled to Campus Sunshine, is a part of the Honors Program, the Peer Mentor Program, and Athletics, where he runs Cross Country and has a work study. As a Sports Management major, Darren had an internship with a Division 1 basketball program, and also enjoys traveling, sports, and juggling!

Sabrina Carreira
Sabrina is from West Hartford, CT and going to be a graduating sport management major in the 2018-2019 school year! At Anna Maria College, she is on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Sabrina has been playing softball since the age of five and is currently on the team here, as an AMCAT. She enjoys the outdoors, reading, and meeting new people.

As a class of 2021 Music Education student, Vincent is involved with many campus clubs and events including, Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Commons Time A Capella, Drama Club, Opera Academy, Music Education Chapter, Billiards Club, Residence Hall Association (RHA), and the Campus Princess Program. Coming from Charlton, MA, Vincent loves to listen and play music and is eager to connect with new students. Vincent’s goal after Anna Maria College is to become a professor at a higher education institution.

Richard CraverRichard “Ricky” Craver
Ricky is a class of 2021 AMCAT from Turners Falls, MA. Ricky is a criminal justice major, and would like to be an FBI detective with his degree. Ricky played 4 sports in high school and currently plays collegiate football. He enjoys hanging out with his friends and all sports.

Zachary DuvalZachary Duval
Zachary is a Music major from Dudley, MA. Zachary loves music, singing, dancing, and performing. He is also involved in the Drama Club as the Secretary, A Capella Common Time, and Chamber Choir. He is looking forward to new and exciting conversations during orientation!

Camryn GallagherCamryn “Cammy” Gallagher 
Cammy is going into her sophomore year as a music therapy major. Cammy is very passionate about being involved on campus and is a member of the PRIDE club, Drama club, Music Therapy club, the Campus Princess Program, Honors Program, Chorus/Wind Ensemble, and Women’s A Capella Group. She is ready to be the best OL she can be!

Franchesca Hammond
Franchesca is a rising sophomore from Worcester, MA. Franchesca is a Sports Management major, and enjoys her courses in marketing and management. She is a member of the Women’s Basketball Team, and can’t wait to shoot hoops with the new students! Franchesca’s goal in her college career is the complete an internship with a pro basketball team to see the behind the scenes interactions of a major sports group.

Shannon HofmillerShannon Hofmiller
Shannon hails from Oxford, CT. She is a class of 2019 Nursing major with the goal of becoming a pediatric nurse at Boston Children’s Hospital in Boston, MA. She plays collegiate basketball and has an older brother and two dogs. Shannon looks forward to seeing everyone at Orientation in the summer!


Danielle HustonDanielle Huston
Danielle will be a senior next year and looks forward to graduation in 2019! Danielle is a business administration major from Spencer, MA, and is a Student Success Center tutor on campus. She is the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Vice President, the Anna Maria College Activities Board Treasurer, and a Field Hockey Student Coach. She enjoys playing sports, watching scary movies, and visiting her family. Danielle’s goal is to become an accountant and to create her own firm.
Lauren KirchnerLauren Kirchner
Lauren is a Nursing major from Harwinton, CT. As a class of 2020 officer, Lauren enjoys cheerleading and being a part of the National Student Nurses’ Association and the Honors Program. After Lauren graduates, she plans to further her education as an advanced practice registered nurse and work in a pediatric doctor’s office. In her free time, Lauren loves to hang out with friends, watch Netflix, and go to the beach.

Kayla MagierowskiKayla Magierowski
Kayla is two sport collegiate athlete, playing field hockey and softball. She the oldest of 4 sisters in her family and is from Brimfield, MA. She loves to hike, read, go to the beach, play with her dogs, and hang out with friends and family. As a class of 2019 Nursing Major, with a minor in psychology, Kayla has the goal of becoming a pediatric nurse.

Margaret MarescoMargaret “Maggie” Maresco
Maggie is from Marshfield, MA and loves everything to do with the performing arts especially playing her upright bass. As a class of 2021 Music Education major, she always has music playing. She is the Drama Club Treasurer, the Education Club Secretary, a part of Wind Ensemble, Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Women’s A Capella, Marching Band, PRIDE club, and the First Year Leadership Program. Maggie is excited to take on many more leadership roles in this upcoming year at Anna Maria College.

Kayla is a Nursing major from Nantucket, MA. She is a class of 2020 graduate, and is a part of the Student Nurses Association and the Honors Program on campus. Kayla is feeling energized about Orientation and can’t wait to see new faces on campus!

Anne MelansonAnne Melanson
Anne is a rising junior at the College and is the class of 2020 President as well as a tutor in the Student Success Center. She is studying to be a middle school ELA teacher and loves working with children. She is dual sport AMCAT, competing in Field Hockey and Softball. When she is not playing sports, she loves to hike with friends, read, or travel home to Grafton, MA to see her two black labs.

Ryan MurphyRyan Murphy
Ryan is a rising senior from North Branford, CT. Ryan loves to be surrounded by his awesome friends while not in class or working. He is President of the Anna Maria Campus Activities Board (AMCAB), Vice President of Student Government Association (SGA), and is also a member of the Fire and Emergency Services Association (FESA). As a fire science major, Ryan is very excited to finish his last year at Anna Maria and then continue working in the fire service.

Alexis PhillipsAlexis Phillips
Alexis is from Gardner, MA and is excited to be back as an Orientation Leader for her second year! When she is not working at Great Wolf Lodge, she is tutoring in the Student Success Center, in the Drama Club, or giving Admissions tours to new students –just like you! Alexis is also President of Kappa Delta Pi, and the Vice President of the Music Education Club. After graduating, Alexis has the goal to receive her master’s degree in vocal performance and special education.

Dolapo SanniDolapo “Dee” Sanni
Dolapo is originally from Nigeria, but moved to Bridgeport, CT at a young age. As a class of 2021 student, Dee transferred into Anna Maria College to be a part of the health science field at the college. She is a member of the ALANA group on campus with the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and also enjoys going to the movies with friends.

Whitney St. GermainWhitney St. Germain
As secretary for the class of 2021, on campus Whitney is a member of Student Government Association (SGA), Fire and Emergency Services Association (FESA), Anna Maria Campus Activities Board (AMCAB), Residence Hall Association (RHA) and cheerleading. She is a Nursing major and the youngest of three. Whitney scoops ice cream in the summer in Ware, MA at Janine’s Frostee, and loves hiking and the beach. She is always up for an adventure!

Austin ThomasAustin Thomas
As a class of 2020 Fire Science Major, Austin enjoys playing guitar, billiards, fishing, and shenanigans! Austin is the Secretary of the Fire and Emergency Services Association (FESA), President of the Billiards Club, Student Government Representative for the Fire and Emergency Services Living and Learning Community, and Hub Manager. You may recognize Austin also from one of your Admissions Tours! He is happy to welcome you to campus once again!

Alexandra ZajkoAlexandra “Alex” Zajko
Alexandra is a Health Science major with a health and community services and psychology minor. Coming to Paxton from Burlington, CT, she is the Cheerleading Captain, Secretary of Student Government Association (SGA), Secretary of Delta Epsilon Sigma Honors Society, and on the Honors Council. She is on the 2019 Class Board, and also finds time to be a part of the Campus Princess Program and Honors Program. Alex’s career goal is to become a physician’s assistant. She loves to watch movies, work out, and eat tons of pizza.
