Is Anna Maria College accredited?

Yes. Anna Maria College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). The Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (CIHE) of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges is the regional accreditation agency for colleges and universities in the six New England states.

How does this accelerated online program work?

The accelerated online Bachelor of Science in Business Administration is a 120-credit program. Students enroll in one course at a time and each course runs for five weeks. This allows students to concentrate on one subject, immersing themselves in the course to maximize comprehension.

Do I have to be online at a certain time each day or week?

No. Although faculty will schedule set times for online office hours, students are not required to log into the course at a specific time. This allows for maximum flexibility for students.

What types of support are available to me?

Anna Maria College provides online advising from experienced advisors and faculty, optional subject-specific tutoring in all courses, writing support from experienced writing tutors and library support through our online library portal.

When is payment due?

Tuition payments are due on the Friday before the first day of class (classes always start on a Monday). Students who have not paid by the end of the day on the Friday preceding the first day of class will be automatically withdrawn from the class.

What are my options for tuition payment?

Be sure to include your Student ID number with payment. There are three options to pay your tuition:

  2. Pay online at in a number of ways:By using our deferred payment plan by making monthly payments through Tuition Management System (TMS) at In order to enroll, please not that if you are in an accelerated program, you must be enrolled in both sessions in order to utilize this plan.
    1. By making an ACH payment - electronic check. Please have your bank account and routing numbers available when making your online payment.
    2. By using Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards. Credit cards are for online use only as we do not accept credit card payments in the Student Accounts Office.

Can I use any type of check for an electronic check payment?

No, we only accept checks from a regular checking or savings account. Checks issued from credit card companies, money market accounts, home equity or other lines of credit cannot be processed as an electronic check payment. These checks, however, can be mailed or paid in person to us. If mailing, please ensure that the student ID is included.

How can I receive a receipt for my payment?

You can receive a receipt for payment by one of two ways:

  1. For mailed payments - mark the check box for receipt on the statement sent to the Student Accounts Office with your payment. The mailed payment should be sent to:

Should I make a payment even if I did not receive a tuition bill?

Yes. You are responsible for the balance of your tuition account even if you did not receive a bill. You may also view and print your tuition bills and make payments online 24 hours a day.

Does Anna Maria College have a payment plan?

Yes. You may pay monthly through Tuition Management System (TMS), an interest-free monthly payment plan. The TMS plan allows you to pay all or part of your educational expenses in monthly installments. You may use the TMS plan to pay your balance after financial aid or in conjunction with a loan. What is the last day to drop a class without penalty?

Students must notify the Anna Maria College Registrar's Office that they intent to drop a class by 4 p.m. on the Wednesday of the first week of classes. Withdrawing from a class after this time will result in no refund being given.

If I anticipate a credit balance on my account due to Financial Aid, what are my options?

How can I receive my credit balance?

Once all the funds are received and posted to your account, your credit balance will be available within two weeks. You may opt to receive your refund through direct deposit. If the pending or disbursed financial aid on my statement does not match my award letter, what should I do?

The Department of Education keeps a percenteage for processing fees for the Federal Stafford Loan (1.072%) and Parent Plus Loan (4.288%). The amount on your award letter is the gross amount and the amount on your bill is the net amount. If the different is other than the processing fee contact the Financial Aid Office at (508) 849-3366.

What is "Pending Financial Aid" noted on my bill?

Pending Financial Aid may show up on your bill. Items under the heading of Pending Financial Aid are monies that the College has not yet received. Most of these items required action by the student before the funds will be disbursed to the billing statement. They include the Stafford Loan, Plus Loan, State Scholarships, Pell Grant, and other alternative loans and outside scholarships. As payments are received from loans and scholarships, credits are applied to the billing statement.
