I am a lifelong learner and committed to ensuring that Anna Maria College students undertake a relevant academic experience which facilitates their journeys towards innovating and exciting careers. During my four decades in Nursing, I was privileged to work in a variety of clinical and administrative settings, including inpatient, ambulatory care, correctional health, and academia. My background is comprehensive, with roles in clinical operations, staff development and education, and risk management. Professionally, I am focused and passionate on topics related to leadership, community service, geriatric sensitivity, and risk mitigation and emergency management. Recent academic scholarship projects involve designing and implementing interdisciplinary and experiential academic programs for both the undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education student.

I earned an Ed.D., in Educational Leadership from the University of Hartford, where my research specialized in “Service Learning Experience and Undergraduate Leadership Behaviors." Currently, my research is focused on analyzing undergraduate sensitivity to the geriatric population.
