Biography:
Michael Donnelly was born in Boston and grew up in a family that loved books and encouraged him to read and to challenge himself. Donnelly is a husband, a father and a lawyer in that order. He is a daily runner with his sheltie dog, Piper and is a lucky grandfather of his grandson, Charlie. Donnelly’s daughter, Katherine, who graduated from Anna Maria and is a professor of clinical nursing, calls him Charlie’s “Manny”. His son, Peter, is a Captain in the Air Force in the Judge Advocate Generals Office and his wife, Mary Frances, is a lawyer for the Department of Children and families.
