Joan-Beth Gow has spent many years in biological research including time spent as an electron microscopy technician and as a research associate working on various cellular processes. Immediately before coming to AMC she was the science learning specialist and an adjunct faculty member at JBGowBecker College. At Anna Maria she teaches a variety of courses in the Natural Sciences and has published case studies for science teaching as well as articles on case-based teaching and other engaging pedagogical strategies.
