Julienne has been an early childhood educator for over 30 years with wide-ranging experiences in teaching and mentoring children, families and educators. Advocating for children as a public school teacher, preschool director, family support facilitator, and after-school instructor. Julienne has presented workshop sessions on a variety of early childhood topics at the NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) for seven consecutive years. She is currently pursuing her second graduate degree at William James College in Newton, MA in expressive arts and counseling with a minor in military psychology. Julienne teaches children's art workshops at the Worcester Art Museum. She is a Blue Star Mother and is interested in working with veterans and their families in diverse settings.

Research Interests:
Julienne is pursuing her interest in military psychology. She is looking at the effects of military deployment on young children and their families. Julienne is a member of the Military Child Education Coalition, and has attended a conference in Washington, D.C. in the summer of 2015.
