Health + Community Services Minor 

Health and Community Service Minor consists of 6 classes (18 credits) was designed for students in other majors interested in acquiring an understanding of how the health field utilizes employees in health advocacy roles. This knowledge may expand the student’s employment opportunities within a health advocacy role.

Requirements: Six courses, 3 Credits each, Total = 18 Credits

  • Cultural Diversity in Health
  • Patient Advocacy and Outreach
  • Chronic Disease and Compliance
  • Health Informatics and Data Entry
  • Navigating Qualified Health Plans

 

Health + Community Services Certificate  

The Certificate program consists of 4 classes (12 credits) is a stand-alone course of study for employees working in the healthcare field. These courses were chosen to provide the theory and practical knowledge and how to apply in their daily health advocacy roles. 

Requirements: 4 Courses, 3 Credits Each, Total = 12 Credits
