Anna Maria College to Host Symposium: "The Emergency Services of the Future"

Anna Maria College announces that its Fire Science and Public Administration Departments and student-run Fire Science Association will host  an Emergency Services Symposium, "The Emergency Services of the Future” on Thursday, April 18, 2013 in the College’s Zecco Performing Arts Center, Paxton, MA.   

Five leaders in the industry will speak at the Symposium: Chief Kelvin Cochran, Fire Chief of the Atlanta Fire/Rescue, Dr. Denis Onieal, the serving Superintendent of the National Fire Academy, Professor David Becker, AMC adjunct EMS professor and Vice Chair of the IAFC EMS Section, Sergeant Matthew Zarella, Rhode Island State Police and Dr. Lauri Bolton, LIFESTAR-Hartford Hospital.

The Symposium begins with registration at 7:30 a.m. with the program beginning at 8:30 a.m. and running to 4:30 p.m.  The cost is $50 and lunch and snacks are provided.  To register, log onto www.annamaria.edu/firesciencesymposium.
