Molly Anne Bish was a 16-year-old lifeguard, who was abducted from Comins Pond in Warren, MA on June 27, 2000.  Family, friends and the community were shocked by the cruel reality that fell upon Molly’s parents, John and Magi Bish as they dealt with a parent's worst nightmare - the abduction of their child.  The agonizing search for Molly came to an end in 2003 when her remains were found in Palmer, MA, only five miles from her home and where she was abducted.

Molly’s plight was the catalyst that launched her family into their unwavering commitment to bring missing and abducted children to the forefront in the American conscience. John and Magi founded Missing Children’s Day in Massachusetts and have brought these issues each year since 2000 to families of other missing children, state legislators, police agencies and the public.
