1098-T Student Information Notice

Anna Maria College has partnered with Heartland ECSI to provide their support for IRS Form 1098-T, Tuition Statement, which furnishes part of the information you need to claim education tax benefits allowed by the American Opportunity and Lifetime Learning Tax Credits.  We are required to send you this form so that you can use it to determine if you are eligible and what dollar amount you claim for these tax credits.

Please note:
If the tuition, comprehensive fees and student government fees charged to your student account in 2017 is less than or equal to your scholarship and grants put on your account in 2017 you will not get a 1098-T form.

To download your 1098T form for 2017 go to https://heartland.ecsi.net/

  1. The first line of this page says “Tax season is here. Want to view your tax form? CLICK HERE.  Students will want to click the “CLICK HERE” link
  2. The student will begin typing the name of the school.  Anna Maria College will be one of the choices.
  3. The student will be asked for First Name, Last Name, SSN and Zip Code
  4. On the next page, click on the plus (+) sign at the right side of the line saying 1098T to open your statement
  5. The 1098-T should show 2017 in the upper right-hand corner. If any other year comes up for current reporting period you were not issued a 1098-T for 2017.
