Provides all students support in a informative setting
Commitment to excellence through a supportive community
Offering a continued commitment for individual students to excel, Anna Maria College faculty, staff and peers offer guidance to new students to prepare them for what’s next. As freshmen, first year students are prepared for the challenges of college life, including the rigors of academic course through summer orientation and bridge programs. Through their academic advisor, upperclassmen continue to receive individualized attention as they complete the 120 credits necessary to earn their undergraduate degrees. The Student Success Center and Career Services serve as beneficial resources throughout a student’s time at Anna Maria.
The Student Success Center provides assistance to all students free of charge in a supportive, information setting. The Center is staffed by professionals, as well as student tutors. In addition to subject-based tutoring, the Center offers study skills workshops to assist all students, but particularly first-year students, refine their note taking, test taking and time management skills.
