Overview

The Anna Maria College Summer Band Institute

Open to all high school music students, this virtual institute will include a structured week of instruction including masterclasses, fundamentals classes, leadership clinics and mini-recitals taught by some of the world’s best musicians and teachers.

 

High School students will have the opportunity to continue their musical learning from world- class musicians, teachers and leaders right at home. Masterclasses will include Central District Music Repertoire Preparation, How to Practice, and Practice Techniques. Band Directors will be given access to every session and upon completion of the program, and a certificate of completion will be emailed to each registered student. 

 

Limited Seats are Available

Summer is fast approaching and so is the priority registration deadline of August 9, 2020. This will be an unmatched experience for high school musicians. Attendees will benefit from face-to-face time with world renowned musicians and teachers.

Costs

Registration Fees

Group rates for Band Directors are as follows:
$1,000: 20-50 students
$1,500: 50-75 students
$2,000 for 75-100 students. 

Individual participant rates:
$150 per Student/$100 per Band Director


NOTE
: There are a limited number of hardship waivers available.

The Summer Music Institute is open to all students entering 9th grade through 12th grade. NOTE: The registration fee will be waived for band directors who enroll six or more students.

 

*Open to students entering 9th grade through 12th grade
*Students must have internet access and computer/tablet/phone
*Students will be given link to access daily events
*Students will be sent warm ups and fundamental exercises in advance
*Students are responsible for having their own instrument, music stand and metronome
*Students will be able to see, hear and communicate via chat during each event.
*Students are responsible for having a copy of their Central District Band Music
*Upon completion of the AMC Virtual Band Institute a Certificate will be emailed to each student
*Band Directors will be given access to every session 
*Faculty subject to change

Registration deadline is July 15, 2020.
